Photos Update

On sleepless night like this, I browse through my albums, do some thinking until I start feeling sleepy. One of the reason I invest into camera. I guess I love looking into the world through the lens. I choose the budget way, or chosen by the limited money in pocket. I bought a Canon dslr. Pretty amazed by all those functions unable done by normal compact camera. Pretty in love with it, although it had much weakness compare to higher range of dslr.

Continue from the previous post, sadly my bf's father passed away last Sunday. It was so sudden that my bf gave me a call on morning and told me head over to hospital as soon as possible. I really can't believe my women's instinct came in so sharp, i talked to my bf about our future planning of marriage, just a night before the incident.

~

Might as well skip the details of happening, the funeral made everyone mentally tiring.

~

Hope that uncle will protect and bless his family from heaven.

From relationship to marriage

Actually i never have the confidence, taking good care of someone other than myself. And didn't expect maintaining this relationship for such a long time. Yes we had gone through a lot of problems and arguments these few years. The relationship does not sail smoothly until it became a bit more stable last year. Previously i try best not to mention topics about marriage, personally do not wanna step into that "famous" grave so fast. The grave that will bury my privacy and freedom. Every time when relatives or friends asking, "When are you two going to get married?", i will just give the "still young" reason. I understand the most common problems after marriage are communications with parents-in-law. Well, i mentioned before that i wish that we do not need to stay with his parents. Maybe i'm easy to feel satisfy, as long as i have my own space and privacy.

And here comes the problem.

My bf's father got sick.

~

I have no idea how much life span left for uncle. After his family understand the risk of surgery, they turn to seek temporary medication from Chinese doctor. Temporary as in delay the illness and make it not so painful. My bf was in shocked for few days after knowing the results. I can't look into his eyes, and just giving him hugs all the time.

While they trying to deal with all the details, bf's mother request me to "give tea" to them. Although it wasn't just me alone, including the younger sister's boyfriend, but i was not well prepare for it. Have no idea how i should call them, earnestly. I'm quite a selfish person, not that type of kind and naive one. And i kinda don't like it when his mom keep nagging and trying to take control over me. Seriously my mom don't even nag that much. Ok and here i can foresee the in-laws war. I truly understand that there won't be peace between us, she hope his son will get her some obeying and conservative type of daughter-in-law. I keep reminding my bf that please do not expect me to fulfill what his mom hopes for.

Getting far from the main topic, i can't decide should i give the tea or not. I can only push the decision to my parents, as my bf have to ask permission from them first.

My mom always tell me that she don't want me to get marry so fast. I wonder what kind of answer she will give to my bf.

Hamsters

Suddenly my younger sister had this urge to keep hamster as pet. And here she bought a pair of hamsters and some of the basic accessories. Once i kept hamster before when i was around 10, unfortunately the shopkeeper that time gave me two male hamsters. No further productions.

I can't remember what type of hamster i bought in the past, i only knew that the hamsters now are extremely active and naughty. The cage was small, they climb all over, run the wheel madly, and destroying the toilet paper roll. They are picky on food too. My sister bought those processed hamster food, they only eat those dried corn and sunflowers seed, leave everything else behind.

My dog feels extremely irritated by the small creatures, and extremely jealous. To "enlighten" him i brought him for ride when possible.

Regret

Regretted that i push away the taiwan trip because of personal reasons.

Still I find its hard to give commitment at age like this. Its all about privacy and freedom.

Everyday remind myself, must enjoy the youth provided and do everything I want before settle down.

Learning to do pictures editing

Bought a DSLR, at last.

While learning how to operate the camera, at the same time gonna learn using some software for photo editing. Normally i like to do a little bit of touch up only. Like natural looks more.

Totally have no idea what i'm doing. Adding some of this and that.

Robbery

Neglected my blog for sometime. My life had been quite hectic after my Perth Trip. Mom got robbed in front of bank and lose some of my dad's company money. It was a very important sum of money for a project in KL. So here comes the argument between my parents and the cold war still goes on.

Staying at home alone with my sister had never been easy, gotta do all the laundries and dishes, taking care of my dog. I was quite a bad cook though, consider quite lucky that things i cooked were edible.

Hope that days like this comes to an end soon.

Poor Lisa

The feeling of car been crashed never been good before. Although i'm not the type who see their car as "husband" or "wife", but its my best transportation tool and Lisa treat me good too. Sob...

Favorite Mask

One of my favorite mask from pharmacy. Hada Labo Moisturizing Mask.
Hada Labo very good at their moisturizing series, but the daily lotion are too oily and left some stickiness on my face. Use their facial mask as emergency dose instead. Put on the mask 20-30 minutes after exfoliate. The next morning I can feel the bounciness on my face. Never feel so young before. LOL.
The mask pack was quite costly for a pharmacy brand, around RM35+ for 3 pieces.

Slave of $$

Few days ago i went to maybank to deposit some cash. Met this mid 40's woman brought a son around age of 10. She's trying to withdraw $$ from atm.

The funniest thing is, the boy seems like love money a lot. He keep asking what his mom doing with the cash. His mom said help daddy withdraw money and so on.

The boy said, in loud volume:

"Mommy, why u take so many cash?"

"Mommy, can i count the cash?"

"Mommy, how much money daddy and mommy keep in bank?"

Feel a bit embarrass to continue listening to the conversation furthermore so i just quickly done my deposit and left the bank.

So young and became slave of $$, tsk tsk...

Cabin Luggage

At last! I found the cabin luggage i wanted the most among all other designs!

The light grey rugged surface, that oh-so-shiny silver handle. More contrary its more to a stylish and guy-ish cabin luggage.

On Sunday while shopping at Mid Valley, saw this Luggage Empire at 2nd floor. The luggage are more on trendy type compare to those traditional luggage shops at 1 Utama. The luggage i spotted on was on display and it was the very last unit. Can't bear seeing those scratches so i requested the staff to reserve a new one from their headquarter. Waiting for their call this week <3

Was yearning for a cabin luggage caused by last year trip to Singapore. I pack a lot and the hand carry bag is going to break my arm off from my shoulder. And realize Air Asia flights check in fees are getting more expensive. Anyway with the lovely new luggage will make it more convenient for my every up coming trips.

How I Pack My Luggage

Two months countdown for the Perth trip. Still doesn't know what stuffs i should add on into my luggage. I admit i'm the one who always over pack my luggage. Wish 15kg luggage check in are sufficient for all my stuffs. I think the symptoms started after my trip with parents to Redang Island when 12 years old. That's the time i started to pack my own luggage, but i packed fewer and insufficient clothes cause by water activities. So i just repeat wearing few of the dirty clothes.

Before every trips, including those simple one night trip, i always note down a list of things to pack. And another list of things to buy if run out a few specific items.

Basically this is how my list looks like, usually i state a few items in same row which go into same category or same accessories bag.

Things to pack!

1. Comb + Serum + Styling Gel (Headache for girl without having her comb to tidy the hair.)
2. Shampoo + Conditioner + Hair mask + Shower Gel + Face cleanser
3. Tooth brush + Tooth paste
4. Toner + Sun Screen + Moisturizer + Eye Gel + Handcream
5. Make up: Highlighter + BB Cream + Concealer + Face Powder + Eyeliner + Eye primer & shadows + Lip Balm + Make up removal
6. Towel (Staying hotel or not i still bring towel.)
7. Phone & Camera Chargers

It's only a basic draft for almost every trip. Need to configure what to buy for the Perth Trip. I don't have winter clothes at all, usually i travel to tropical places.

Thing to Buy! (Still in consideration)

1. Leggings
2. Boots, Military Boots or Pumps
3. Scarfs
4. Thicker Tops or Dress

So much to buy. Hope that i won't over budget for the whole trip.

Castration

He was my first dog at home. Didn't thought of castration after 6 years. Vet courage us to get the surgeries done as soon as possible. In one more year he might be too old to get any operations done. So last month after CNY, we brought him for body check up and soon arranged his surgery appointment by following week.

Heart pain, first saw him trembles, carried in vet's arm when we went to pick him up by evening. The anesthetic cause him slow respond to everything. Can't even walked properly. After 2 hours of bumping into furniture and wall, only he regained his strength and memory.

Since then he have to keep wearing the cone in case he bites the incision. So moody.

Movies

I think that US/UK movies are doing really well lately. All the fun, love, friendships and blood boiling story lines captivating me for every 2 hours i spent in cinema.

Trip to Penang

It has been a decade since my last time to penang with parents. Now i'm there again with my loved one, exploring the downtown area with our own way.

The well maintained temple.

Penang dim sum served by a lot of old aunties. Amazingly better than Pj dim sum.

Now i understand why penang food so famous, taste so good and so original cause they were less salty and less msg. And the heritage cultures there attract foreigners for long backpack stay.

It might be not bad to set up a vacation home at penang, if i have extra money in future.

Excited

Excited that there's planning of trips for the year! Long awaited moment to plan a trip with everyone else. Firstly follow and help out my sister for her pre-wedding photo shooting at Perth.

*Imagining at Perth, sitting at outdoor cafe and enjoy a cup of warm cappuccino.*

A good chance to involve in professional photo shooting. Although the photographer Andy only freelancing, but i heard from my sister that he was top photographer in the university last time. It feels like being a photographer assistant (which i don't really mind). He was one of the rare photographer which really take good photos.

Hope till then i still have time to stroll around by myself for my own photo collections. Weeee~

CNY Holidays

After all the hardworks before CNY, what left was:

1. Shopping
2. Pick up sister from airport
3. Cleaning
4. And relaxation at home.

Can't resist the cookies temptations, almost everyday of CNY i chomp nom nom cookies baked by my mom. The utmost regretness when i stepped on the weight scale. Sob T_T

I should have...

I should have start my works now instead of blogging and facebook-ing.

I should have go singapore to do my cny clothes shopping.

I should have clean my room last week and its not even half done.

I should have save my money but i spent it on bed linens.

I should have do my planning for the year but i keep delay it.

Zzzzz.

I miss photographing

Last year, I've been told by an uncle that its a waste that i didn't try to catch up for photographing practice. Either professional or beginner mode. He courage me to become a wedding photographer. Which they are bunches of them along the street.

Last night when i met others for dinner, Tham brought his camera and new equipped lens. I guess i really miss photographing. Abandoned my mini digital cam for too long.

Honestly i had a lot of fun capture photos. My photo style was more towards candid freestyle, scenery and objects. Still very bad at capturing portrait and face expression though.

Kinda like D5100, the same dslr Tham using. Hope Nikon will release more low budget dslr soon.

New year new resolution, is to get a dslr for myself this year!

Talents

I think good looking guys with talents are very attractive. I might drool all over if i get to know one.

Example:

Good looking guys who draw nice arts. (Not anime characters sketch.)

Good looking guys who play instrument and sings well at the same time.

Good looking guys who take really nice pictures with their dslr. (Not those amateur who thinks that they are very pro.)

Good looking guys who cook well.

Sudden urge of thinking these kind of impossible stuffs, caused my sister whatsapp me talked about how she met a client who are very handsome.

Chiropractic doctor hired my sister to design new brochure for his own clinic.

Korean & American mix. And he looks like one of the drama artist Daniel at Korea.

Daniel Henney

Omg. I know i sounds desperate but if i met a guy like this on the street i think i can't stop myself from staring at him.

Mentality Status

"They should have a tab for mentality status at facebook."

I guess my mental had been quite numb from the work challenges everyday. Helping out family's business are a lot harder than i think last time. Its everything about $$$. I think employed under company like others in cina gang, which they received salary sharp on time. Don't really need to care the company earn $$ or not, just have to make sure the tasks appointed by boss get done on time.

Maybe its a mistake that i quit my gym, no where to vent my anger and madness.

I wish i can dance well like the guy in the MV.

Up coming pilihan raya

Can't believe its already our age to vote for our country's future.

Anyway, although we are part of democracy country. But at the other hand, the truth was Malaysia not democracy enough, here they don't allow -> we can't vote for prime minister.

Malaysia had really bad voting system. Part of the fake registers been discovered by authorities. And till now i still can't check my registered details online. I already registered at post office on 15th Dec 2011. It was stated that i can check websites after 2 weeks upon registration.

Malaysia, what would it become in the next 10 years.

Christmas 2011 and New Year 2012

I guess i'm really stepping into mature age. These kind of holidays doesn't excite me anymore. Caused by the global warming weathers, always get drenched by evening rains, i had been quite sick for these holidays.

First sore throat, coming up with flu and cough.

Christmas, clinics were closed for holidays. Delayed until 26-27 only get to visit the doctor.

At the new year holidays, accompany my bf to attend to his friend's wedding. Dinner held at cyber jaya resort. Very heart warming wedding, the newly wed couple pour a lot efforts into this.
