New cafe at 1 Utama, always crowded at bakery area. The food and drinks are so so only. Not really worth it. Maybe is the environment, it attracts a lot of foreigner customers.

Tea Forty Two

Located at bangsar village, part of the cafe chains from delicious.

Non stop eating!

While my sister around pj for her short vacation, we headed to different cafes she recommends.

First was the levaine cafe at jalan imbi, they are so famous that it can be full house on friday afternoon, i heard from others said weekends, the shop so pack and was like a ticking bomb.

Very nice ambiance and cooling outdoor, fully equipped with water mist fan.

Baking mooncakes

My auntie request help from my mom to bake some mooncake. So she can cut some cost compare to buying those commercial mooncake at supermarket.

Passed by kitchen, mom asked me to help painting mooncake with eggyolks. It really took me long time cause the mooncake design was really complicated. A lot of flowers and patterns which i have to paint it so so so softly. And i did the decoration for shanghai mooncake too.

Macarons

Lately i have been eating a lot macarons.

The reason is, my mother went for a macaron baking class at big boys oven studio, kota damansara. I will skip about the class details, but before my mom left they gave my mom a full box of colorful macarons. It was hell over sweetness type of chewy french candy but it was so expensive selling at the cafes out there.

Its addictive. And started helping my mom to experiment macarons at home. I guess i can't stop growing fatter and will see dentist more frequently soon.
