Hamsters

Suddenly my younger sister had this urge to keep hamster as pet. And here she bought a pair of hamsters and some of the basic accessories. Once i kept hamster before when i was around 10, unfortunately the shopkeeper that time gave me two male hamsters. No further productions.

I can't remember what type of hamster i bought in the past, i only knew that the hamsters now are extremely active and naughty. The cage was small, they climb all over, run the wheel madly, and destroying the toilet paper roll. They are picky on food too. My sister bought those processed hamster food, they only eat those dried corn and sunflowers seed, leave everything else behind.

My dog feels extremely irritated by the small creatures, and extremely jealous. To "enlighten" him i brought him for ride when possible.

Castration

He was my first dog at home. Didn't thought of castration after 6 years. Vet courage us to get the surgeries done as soon as possible. In one more year he might be too old to get any operations done. So last month after CNY, we brought him for body check up and soon arranged his surgery appointment by following week.

Heart pain, first saw him trembles, carried in vet's arm when we went to pick him up by evening. The anesthetic cause him slow respond to everything. Can't even walked properly. After 2 hours of bumping into furniture and wall, only he regained his strength and memory.

Since then he have to keep wearing the cone in case he bites the incision. So moody.

Silly things

I like to play with my dog and we do silly things together.

Countless nights

I had share a bed with my dog for countless nights. He likes to curl on my bed and sleep for hours. Due to small single bed, i realize i had developed a lot of weird sleeping pose caused by him.

He was so darn smart, he knows when we on our air conditioner and its time for beds <3

Triops

Few months ago, when i hang out around S & J gift shop at 1 utama, saw this box which contain a plastic container and a few pack of weird powders. Can't read the description, all in japs. Then there's these weird weird funny cartoon creatures printed on box.

And i just realize today, its the new experiment box for - tadpole shrimp. Something similar to ant farm. Their name was Triops as well. They are ancient water creatures from around 220million years ago.

This is how they look like, quite ugly but funny creatures. The wiki said they have 3 eyes and breath with their legs. But their life span only last for 8-14 weeks.
I wonder will it smell fishy if i breed them at home......

Pets

Went to pet shop to buy my dog's cookies and new water bottle today. Saw a hamster half way giving birth to those tiny pink creatures. It looks funny though cause the baby hamster can't go all the way out and the mommy hamster keep running around. They really keep giving birth cause i saw another badge of mini hamster which already coated with fur and playing aside their mom.

I kept hamster before, two of them when i was 10. But that time the pet's equipment doesn't appear to be stylish and functional. I still remember the time i really put on some bath for the 2 hamster, luckily they didn't die half way from the bath. Now there's this bathing sand and bathing room (which look like soap container), specially made for hamster selling in shops now. When my time, they still don't have tunnel shaped cage for hamster to run around, what i had was just steel bar cage. My "deceased" hamster everyday climb on to the bar, up side down and keep biting the steel to sharpen their teeth.

They died after i kept them for a year. Quite a short life for them. But they really serve their purpose. If someone hold them with "unfriendly aura", they either bite the fingers or shit on the palm. They are quite sensitive towards human who hold them.

Looking into pet shop's hamster makes me feel like wanna keep them again. But i have to prepare upcoming breeding for my dog next year and till that time my house will have to take care 2 dogs, my current shih tzu and one of his son/daughter.

Honestly i'm quite a pet lover, what ever i saw in pet shops i hope i can keep them in my house, no matter it was rabbits, hermit crabs, fish, cats, sugar gliders and etc. But!! Except cold blooded snakes, iguanas, scorpions and spiders. I'm very afraid of reptiles and insects.

Typical, i like fluffy with fur and warm creatures.

Another visit to vet, again.

My dog got this yeast infection in his ears, which make it smelly and fishy.
Bought shampoo, antibiotic, supplement oil for skin etc. And there goes my money.
He got himself a wound on his front leg. To prevent he scratch and make it bleed again, I put on a bandage. Found the bandage strap from the car's emergency kit.
