Neighborhood

I think i've mentioned about my new neighbor who rented the house next door and how they cause a fire in the kitchen.

Apparently, they are totally idiots.

The man, seems like remarried, had a daughter of age 19-20, and another 2 younger daughters which roughly around under 10 years old. Then sometimes pop up a lala guy going around the house.

Its a headache when it comes to link-ed houses. I can hear next door very easily, especially when the kids hopping around the staircase.

I should have getting my late sunday sleep today! But i get shocked and jumped off my bed once i heard the staircase bang. Wtf. Its still 8am.

Triops

Few months ago, when i hang out around S & J gift shop at 1 utama, saw this box which contain a plastic container and a few pack of weird powders. Can't read the description, all in japs. Then there's these weird weird funny cartoon creatures printed on box.

And i just realize today, its the new experiment box for - tadpole shrimp. Something similar to ant farm. Their name was Triops as well. They are ancient water creatures from around 220million years ago.

This is how they look like, quite ugly but funny creatures. The wiki said they have 3 eyes and breath with their legs. But their life span only last for 8-14 weeks.
I wonder will it smell fishy if i breed them at home......

Pets

Went to pet shop to buy my dog's cookies and new water bottle today. Saw a hamster half way giving birth to those tiny pink creatures. It looks funny though cause the baby hamster can't go all the way out and the mommy hamster keep running around. They really keep giving birth cause i saw another badge of mini hamster which already coated with fur and playing aside their mom.

I kept hamster before, two of them when i was 10. But that time the pet's equipment doesn't appear to be stylish and functional. I still remember the time i really put on some bath for the 2 hamster, luckily they didn't die half way from the bath. Now there's this bathing sand and bathing room (which look like soap container), specially made for hamster selling in shops now. When my time, they still don't have tunnel shaped cage for hamster to run around, what i had was just steel bar cage. My "deceased" hamster everyday climb on to the bar, up side down and keep biting the steel to sharpen their teeth.

They died after i kept them for a year. Quite a short life for them. But they really serve their purpose. If someone hold them with "unfriendly aura", they either bite the fingers or shit on the palm. They are quite sensitive towards human who hold them.

Looking into pet shop's hamster makes me feel like wanna keep them again. But i have to prepare upcoming breeding for my dog next year and till that time my house will have to take care 2 dogs, my current shih tzu and one of his son/daughter.

Honestly i'm quite a pet lover, what ever i saw in pet shops i hope i can keep them in my house, no matter it was rabbits, hermit crabs, fish, cats, sugar gliders and etc. But!! Except cold blooded snakes, iguanas, scorpions and spiders. I'm very afraid of reptiles and insects.

Typical, i like fluffy with fur and warm creatures.

Future-in-law?

My elder sis's future parents-in-law coming to visit us from Miri, Sarawak this coming september. Apparently my mom was quite nervous about it, worry that she can't give her best treatment to the guests. I think my sister was quite lucky, her parents-in-law stay at somewhere else, and they are very healthy too. They join a lot of activities and club back in their hometown. Although they will need to fly back for visiting but the couple have their freedom on their own.

A lot difference compare to me...

I had been steady with my boyfriend for few years. But i'm not ready for marriage yet. Plus, both of us haven't reach the peak of our own career yet. My boyfriend's parents are very conservative-minded. Sometimes when we out for a very short trip or a date, his mom sure call and disturb. Honestly, i don't like his parents. My boyfriend had not been able to expand his ability in his field, cause his parent stopped him from doing so. They think that doing business are risky and surely will loss profit. They hope his son can work for somebody else, and steadily receive salary every month. Stay as low profile as they could was their aim of the life.

I had told my boyfriend about our future plan, i hope both of us can stay alone in our own house. (but he said if possible buy one near to his parent's home =_=) That's why i told him we wanna earn as much money as we could before marriage. And buy a house beforehand, i don't mind if the house are small. Nowadays the housing are too expensive and hardly to afford. I would like it small, warm and very homey. Enough to fit both of us, and maybe 1 or 2 kids in future.

Ya know, i can imagine how i crash his family's future peaceful life. I don't even listen to my own parents, how would i follow parents-in-law's instruction? And sometimes couple/husband & wife, have their own issues to settle, which i don't like the elders to mix hand in it.

I might be very stubborn, but i wanna did my best for both career and family too. I do not want them to expect me to be a very loyal daughter-in-law and jaga home everyday.

Random Update

I spent a lot of time to tidy my room lately. Especially my wardrobe and piles of related bills. Kept thinking, why the hell i bought that piece of crap/clothes? And when did i bought it? I just pack it into a plastic and going to bring them for donation. I really underestimated my "shopping desire" for quite lot of years.

I repeat and repeat, keep telling myself that buy things which are necessary, useful and worth the money. But sometimes its really hard to stop myself from buying things. As a female, i had save quite a lot on the 3 biggest enemy of wallet: Shoes, women accessories and hand bags. I'm not into shoes cause i hardly can get my size, and i sensitive to accessories. Hand bag can last very long.

Just talked about saving, but i still feel like getting a travel luggage. But my sis urge me to buy backpack. Zzz.

Living qualities - Bed

I'm the type of person, request much more better 'helpful' living household or items. And wasted quite some money just to dump old things away.

This time I'm not satisfy with my bed.

Actually the set of mattress and bed deviant bought around a decade ago. The bed eventually bought for my younger sister. After some 'rawr' and siblings argument 3 years ago, I moved to the room downstairs. The queen size bed which I bought was left in my sister's room and grabbed the older bed. The deviant sink at the middle when sleep on it but I fixed it with buying a huge plywood and placed it underneath.

The good time doesn't last long. Bed started to sink again. I had spent a lot of nights, unconsciously sleeping on the border of my bed. Slept really badly. I went to Ikea to look for bed frame. They doesn't come cheap, makes me feel disappointed. Now, I removed the bed deviant, and let the mattress lie on floor, just like japanese futon.

Unseen future

Every time talked with buddies about careers, I feel insecure.
Bad studies and lack of experience. Can be say so I'm quite idiotic that I didn't further my studies into college. Helping my dad just provide me a satisfaction mentality that "I did something good for family".
Get a boyfriend doesn't mean that I'm in the safety zone. Still, we females really need our own career to go on. Our own job and own perspective. Nothing good if just rely on men's income.
Need to keep reminding myself, I got to plan my path as soon as possible.

Mobile Phones

I need to change my handphone soon. My current E71, the software already corrupted and keep restart whenever 'he' likes. Its already been almost 3 years I'm using him. The battery life can be so call still long lasting.

But, I still having hard time choosing between Iphone and HTC. Iphone apparently have better screen colors and more phone casing all around the street. And seems like Ken, Wei, Bw, Lee and Heng are having a good time using them.

I was attracted to HTC cause they are less limitation towards apps download. The model I had my eye on it was HTC Sensation. 1.2GHZ processor make it faster internet loading compare to Iphone.
Need more time to reconsider I think, both phones also quite expensive. sigh...

Catching up with another gang

Yesterday, I online chatting with a "long time no see" friend. Apparently, he was busy going after a girl for the year. And for his upcoming birthday, he plan to gather clubbing session at mist bangsar. What I told him was, I feel tired when I think of clubbing nowadays. Very obviously I started to ageing and the teenage rebellious doesn't exist anymore.
Shocking news from him, one of the girl going to marry this coming September. Yes, the couple going to marry cause of a child. A six years old boy. She gave birth to him around f5. But the girl's mother take care of the child and pay some aunties to babysit him for the daytime. They never admit to the guy's parent that they already had a child. Things can't cover for long, soon the little boy need to enroll into primary school. Incomplete birth certificate, they went to explained to the guy's parent, and need to plan for a marriage registration.
Seems like I need to lose few more pounds to attend to the wedding.

Portable speaker

I had very limited space and gadgets in my room. Last week when we went for a tour at taylor lakeside, i can't forget what i saw at the shop called gravity.
Cute bear design of portable speaker which read mini sd card. So end up buying it when i saw it at pyramid.
Although it was a product from china, unexpected sound quality coming out from this small boom box. Plus, it can read pendrive too, similar to car mp3 modulator.
I having some hard time choosing between black and the pink color. Decided to go for a pink one, help cheer up my mood when listening to the music.

Another visit to vet, again.

My dog got this yeast infection in his ears, which make it smelly and fishy.
Bought shampoo, antibiotic, supplement oil for skin etc. And there goes my money.
He got himself a wound on his front leg. To prevent he scratch and make it bleed again, I put on a bandage. Found the bandage strap from the car's emergency kit.
Nice bandage hur?

Women's Hobby

I think I spend most of my time shopping, inside pharmacy and shops related to skin care products. Watson was one of my famous spot to spend my free time. Looking on product labels and comparing prices. I think i tried most of the skin care brands around Watson.
I don't like the point, using skin care series which come in a set, kinda like to mix different brands according to my skin's condition.
Discovered Shiseido Aqua Label moisturizer emulsion, very suitable for day use. I kinda like it light and smooth after apply, especially for hot and humid weather here.

A notice for BB cream user, please do not use BB cream as part of your moisturizer in the day time. I knew they always promote it as all in one skin care and make up "magical" cream. Either your face will dry out, acne pops out cause of the clogging from the BB cream. (Who said BB cream won't clog the pores?)
We still need to use proper make up remover, to remove BB cream which stick to your skin for the whole long day.
Last, a note to all my fellow buddies, at least exfoliate your skin once every week. For acne skin, use exfoliate cream instead of scrubs. (I still remember the time when BW everyday mimic the Ginvera advertisement's slogan.)

4th July - Independence Day

I'm not American, but i quite concerned with this date cause it was my elder sister's birthday!

Just for your info, my family not westernized enough to tell each other how much we love them. So we always skip birthday celebration as well.

It had been a year since my elder sister Jamy moved to Singapore. No one at home poking me around, scold me or keep complaining, quite not used to it for the first few months. But I understand well that I have to take care of everything without her inspection now.

And on March 2011, she had registered her marriage with her husband, Victor. Waiting for her PR approval. Their real wedding will be held on December 2012. I'm really glad that she's really feeling happy with her husband. (Envious! Victor bought her a pair of Chanel earrings for her birthday.)

Here i secretly wish her happy birthday, and not telling me she's poor every month.

Family matters

Before our trip to Singapore, lot of things had happened to my family.

Firstly my grandpa went through some surgery last year, my uncle's wife elope with some other guy, my great grandma passed away, and my grandma got herself a stroke last month, making her half paralyzed.

My uncle who stayed with my grandma, his wife (I called her 'fucker' secretly) had been working as manager at Cavenzi's furniture shop around kajang area. Seems like she feels unsatisfied with her husband and elope with this owner of the furniture shop. What left behind was my foolish uncle and a pair of kids. And since then my grandma had been stressing herself out and break down months later. It wasn't a good thing to be proud of. But no one able to stop the fucker came by secretly to visit her kids. It's really different from what we watch in drama, the divorce has been made secretly and the elders didn't knew a thing about it. No explanation had been made to my grandma.

My mother advice my eldest uncle to talked to his little brother about it but he said he afraid he can't meddle with other people's affair. WTF? That was his younger brother and he pretend that it wasn't his business. The worst case was the kids. They can't figure things out and why their mother not staying with them. Everyday making out war in my grandma house.

I got quite irritated by this incident, cause my grandma had been doing all the house works and cooking since she married to my uncle for 10 years. Taking care of children while she out for works. Didn't fulfill her duty as a daughter-in-law at all!

I wish that when i saw her on street, I can beat the crap out of her.

The house that had been ageing for years, and who would care what kind of stories behind it?

I WANT MORE, MORE VACATION!!

I'm a really bad bad girl, can't stop thinking of travel and have fun with all my might.

I think i will plan our next destination to Siam Reap, Cambodia. A bit of adventurous yet historical places among all. Hope that you guys able to take leave. We should do it when we still "young", need a lot of walking there.
I heard that the Angkor Wat are getting spoil slowly. The growth of tropical trees crossing through the walls and floors. Government there can't maintain such a huge ruin in perfect state.
Another famous things to do in Siam Reap are going for cooking class! Sounds lovely and gay (lol). The chef will bring the students to the market nearby and get the ingredients ready. That's the part Malaysia tourism can't achieve. They don't have that kind of passion in providing tourist the best understanding of our cultures.
Other than that, there's no seduction for shopping. Quite a poor country but a lot of american and european pouring in, starting their business in tourism, example restaurant, night pub, hostel, cooking school, high class spa resorts etc.
And what else, 0.50USD for a glass of beer!!
